V3-23 Adversity and Contentment
Walking Talking Bible Project
In Philippians 4:13, does “all” mean all? Considering verses 10-13, is the passage about succeeding at whatever we do or about being content even in the face of adversity? Is Luke 11:9-13 a blank check or is it about asking for and receiving something in particular? Whom does the angel of the LORD encamp around? Why? These are just some of the questions to consider in this week’s edition of the Walking Talking Bible Project.

Connection Passage #1: Zechariah 4:6

6 So he said to me, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the LORD of Hosts.
Connection Passage #2 Psalm 34:7

Connection Passage #3: Luke 11:9–13
Luke 11:9–13
9 So I tell you: Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.
10 For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
11 What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead?
12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion?
13 So if you who are evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”
