V2-45 Obedience and Choice
Walking Talking Bible Project
The Bible has been banned at many times in various parts of the world. Could you see it possibly someday being banned where you live? What does Ezekiel 36:26-28 say about the cause of obedience? What does this imply about our ability to obey God prior to or apart from His intervention? What role does choice play in obedience? These are just some of the questions to consider in this week’s edition of the Walking Talking Bible Project.

Memory Passage: Joel 2:28
Joel 2:28
28 And afterward, I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.
Connection Passage #1: Amos 8:11–12
Amos 8:11–12
11 Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord GOD, when I will send a famine on the land— not a famine of bread or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of the LORD.
12 People will stagger from sea to sea and roam from north to east, seeking the word of the LORD, but they will not find it.
Connection Passage #2 Malachi 3:16–18
Malachi 3:16–18
16 At that time those who feared the LORD spoke with one another, and the LORD listened and heard them. So a scroll of remembrance was written before Him regarding those who feared the LORD and honored His name.
17 “They will be Mine,” says the LORD of Hosts, “on the day when I prepare My treasured possession. And I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him.
18 So you will again distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.”
Connection Passage #3: Ezekiel 36:26–28
Ezekiel 36:26–28
26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
27 And I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes and to carefully observe My ordinances.
28 Then you will live in the land that I gave your forefathers; you will be My people, and I will be your God.
